An actual catalog shot probably wouldn't be cropped so tightly, but I really like your stylized approach... well done!

Nice color and detail. Not sure if the close crop works for me, like it in theory, hmm. I think the sole of boots tell a lot about their purpose, so if you could see the rugged tread, it would demonstrate the name of the boot better.

While you are trying to show yellow color of the boot, WB is waaay off

I like this. but it seems to lose it's focus to the left. Perhaps a bit deeper DOF could've avoided this.

The black corner is pretty distracting for me. I don't focus on the actual product as much as I should because of it.

Not a very powerful shot of the boot. Seems rather dull and unexciting... Maybe if it was stomping on something, or on rough terrain, I'd be more inclined to buy it...
