 I stood in a crosswalk in the middle of the street to get this angle. I had some others where the cupola was more framed by branches, but I settled on this more open shot, especially after I saw the tuft of pine needles repeating the shape of the spire on top.

The entire cupola had been removed for several years as part of a seismic retrofit project, during which time at sat like a sculpture on the front lawn of the building, then used as school district headquarters.

Auto exposure. Cropped, tone curve, resized, sharpened.

This image seems a little bit dull. I like how the steeple is peeking out from behind the trees.

I wish I could see more of the building, the trees are kinda in the way & the building's very dark. But this is very cool idea, the framing and all

Interesting composition - the diagonal blue area leads in from the bottom left right to the tower. But, there's probably too much foilage and not enough of the building.
