 Meet my nephew Nick. One of the coolest 13 year olds I have ever met.

He was kind enough to pose knee deep in the Ottawa River at my cottage.

it was almost dark we went with a very long exposure ... that explains the blur in Nicks hands. I loved the result. The water is all overexposed to meet the challenge criteria. I love the neg space and the tone and mood of the shot.

Not sure why you wanted this image critiqued but okay here goes..

It's a good image but it slightly lacks interest. It does how ever give that thought to people of is he walking into the light? Is he being abducted? what exactly is going on ya know. I have to say that a 6.6 is pretty good.

Another congrats -- I didn't vote in this challenge, but after looking at the top 50 or so entries I have to say this is one of my favorites. It makes me think of country river baptisms.

I really like this. I saw a movie once called Cube, in the end one guy walks into a room filled with a super bright light - no sign of anything, just a mystery you know, and then the movie ends. This reminds me of that. I like the fact that his hands are not in focus it gives it a dreamy like feel 8

This reminds me of Goodman's 'Finding Nemo'. Don't know my technical stuff to know whether it's all overexposed or whether the contrast is whacked up, but I like it. 7
