Ok, I really like this however, this seems more high contrast to me than overexposed. I like the shades of blues, and the red mat and the texture of the wall 6

I think the overexposure enhances the texture of the wall as much as anything else in this image. Has a European feel to it. Looking forward to learning where you were.

I really the idea of his photo, with the colours and balance of the door next to the window, joined by the brick work. My eye is continually being drawn to the door though.... maybe it is a picture in itself?

Not sure how this will do for you, but I like it the more I look at it. Overexposed, yes, but it brings out great contrast and saturation -- patterns too. Good job composing and processing an otherwise plain scene.

I think if you are going to overexpose only a part of the image you should overexpose the subject.. but i like the picture in general.
