 messing with my macro lens with the only subject available, my cat grace, will probably be loads like this but oh well :)

used flash and converted from raw with lightroom then transferred into cs3 used shadow/highlight then curves and sharpen then save for web.

Don't really like the half blown out and half not aspect of the composition. Great eye, though.

Good focus on the eye, but what's it reflecting? If it's to be that clear, it should be reflecting something interesting. Not sure the OE does much.

Not to sound like a know it all but the eye is not high key at all. High key is all highlights and mid tones with no shadow/dark ones. Anyway, I do like the focus on the eye but the blur of the nose (which happens to people all the time, including me) is very distracting.
