 Shot at 22mm. First day I've used my 350D since the arrival of the 40D last fall. Taken at the San Diego Wild Animal Park, on the Photo Caravan. You may recall this Giraffe's tongue. This was also my first day lugging around two bodies, 2nd was 40D with a rented 100-400, and was used for this rhino shot which I love. Finally, my FS outtake, taken on the same trip. What a great day, definitely recommended.

hey ben .. BRILLIANT SHOT ..
i see photographs that appeal so much, like this one, and then check out the lens & often its the 10-22 .. its one helluva lens .. love the distortion .. i tried a 10-17mm tokina fisheye at our local camera shop, but i'm not sure of the quality compared to the canon .. and the distortion is only a lot at 10mm .. decisions decisions .. !!..

ha! another funny looking giraffe - they sure are crazy critters! I like the perspective of this... it feels like s/he is looking down at me... there is a feeling of being below. just as the perspective of a giraffe should be!

Very cute perspective. However, it has a cut and paste look, especially on the right side of the giraffe's head.

what a great shot! love the feeling of the giraffe just popping out of the screen and me being like, "woa get outta my room." great complimenting colors as well. good luck!

I love it! Forget the fact that it's sharp as a tack and wonderfully composed. . . It made me chuckle! This is a great shot! There are 489 shots in this challenge. I'm through 5 of them, and I already hope to see you on the front page!
