To try to anticipate questions....

Yes, it's a real Out House, and was provided for guests at the wedding.

No that's NOT her garter that's being tossed, it's her underwear.

Yes, that's corn in the background. Lots of it, and it's a lot taller than it looks.

Yes, it's a real redneck wedding!

And yes, I did shoot the wedding, including formals and candids before and after. Including naked children running around.

My my.

Let's see, where to start.

White balance off, ok THAT is helpful. I knew there was something wonky... but it had been a very long day in very hot sun.

Harch Title???? Gracious. I'm thinking that's a geographical assessment, cause the bride's mother is the one who titled it! And since she's my mother in law... well it's not considered harsh by any means, it's just an accurate description.

Definately not planned. This was their actually wedding. I can't even post most of the pictures. Can's of WD-40, and paint thinner behind the cake, flys, naked children. It was something else, but there were no fights, no angry words, no bridezilla. They love each other, and if it takes an outhouse, well ok. But, they still have to use the toilet when they come visit us!

Subject. Well it's the entire thing, It's a wedding scene complete with semi naked children, a crazy bride and groom, an ACTUAL outhouse and gracious 10 foot CORN???? and panties... of all things..... PANTIES in the air.

I really didn't expect it to do as badly as it did, but in the long run, it doesn't matter, my little sister is happy with the shots so :p to those who don't like it.

Nice image but I found it a little bit bright. Parts of the mans shirt are a little blown out and I thought the image was a little overcrowded. I also found it hard to know who the main subject of the image is.

Everything in this shot is surreal and just wonderful, love a photo that tells a story although the setup is all wrong, there is no way it could have been planned that way.

LOL. This is just too bizarre to be staged.

I think your post-processing has let you down somewhat. It now has a plastic, chromatic aberration feel to it. The composition is a little hectic, but you've captured an interesting moment.

White balance is way off...the whites should be white, not blue. Funny title. ":-)

I'm not sure what that is that he's throwing, but the scene here is priceless! I love the untucked shirt and the handpainted outhouse sign. This is how my wedding should have been done!
