Liquify, hue/sat, A series of filters: Eyecandy's Smoke and Fire filters, Xenofex Baked Earth, some LucisArt. No way I can recall steps - it's almost always detailed work applying, history brushing, undoing trying this trying that. Key is doing things on layers and being able to manipulate the effects isolated from the underlying image.

theres an incubus song and it goes, "on the verge of spontaneous combustion, woe is me" and that just popped into my head the second i saw this. great way to end a month art, your work is freaken amazing, and your one heck of a mentor and awesome friend. :-]

Very cool shot, ok it's hot. Was a blast to see your images Art. You have inspired me to try some things out and hopefully I will be able to come close to what you have achieved here.
