Two churches in Washington DC - Taken on a rainy day whilst waiting for another job. Through glass and cropped as I didn't have a long enough lens.

Wonderful photo, full of interest. Love the effect the rain has on the light and the holy ghostly cathedral. (Alas too subtle or something for DPC voters).

Nice juxtaposition of architecture. B&W treatment works well to draw the contrast of the buildings, I think the trees may have been distracting from what you are trying to do here. Good choice.

Egads; that's my alma mater with the National Cathedral in the background! Everything looks much closer together than it appears in real life ... interesting perspective. Now I'm trying to figure out where you took it from and with what length lens ;-)

Back to the challenge: two big towers each on old buildings, and I'll ignore all the dissimilarities. Very nice detail on the buildings, especially considering how far apart they really are.
