 The sun flare and late afternoon sky are brought out by a sepia filter. I am trying to get Photoshop worked out so that my images do not become softened during the post processing to resize the image for contest entry. I am not sure if I have perfected the art of resizing the image, but I believe it is better than the last entry.

Very pretty. I love the starbursts - they give the scene a magical quality. The one at the bottom adds particular beauty to that area where the light is highlighting the tops of the weed things (are those cattails? no clue)

Btw - I save sharpening for last. I do all the editing, resize and then apply it.

while you've over exposed (blown out) certain aspects of the photo, it doesn't really make the shot. dnmc, imho. Absent the challenge theme, and if you backed off a bit on the lighting, it would be alovely photo.
