My sister Karen riding her horse Gorjeousjorge in the woods between our houses. Taken in raw converted with Canon Digital Professional and converted to Black and White adjusted highlights and contrst in PS C2. What can I say I love horses and it is one of my paths I took in life. :)

Could use a bit more contrast since its in black and white. Theres no real black or white, and contrast would help w/ that.

Ah, shooting for this at the same time as for horses... Nice detailed and clear b/w treatment. I need to work on my b/w conversions to be able to achieve this.

A nice idea. I think it would've been stronger cropping out the tree trunk on the right. It competes for my attention and leaves the left side feeling empty and unbalanced. The bright leaves up and to the right also compete with the rider, whose tones don't stand out much from the background.
