 i seen a picture like this one (way better) on the web after looking for ideas and inspiration and i was realy captured at how the photographer achieved the effect.
used 2 lights and 2 white pieces of paper positioned both nail and figure at the back and front of the paper then shined the lights.i only have basic lights (torches) to use so was happy with this.
removed color,added noise,darkend.

Clever although not so abstract. Tilted horizon line and grain take away from the final product.

Without the rabbit, it's a nice abstract study of shape and tone. The bunny ruins it for me. Also, try to always use the max. available size (640 pixels on the long side in this case).

how strange!
one thing that really bugs me is i can see the nail is standing straight up but the table? seems angled it throws me off but i like this :)
