shot with a wide lens. huge head teeny body. Horses are hard in this respect. way too easy to distort , a much longer focal length fixes this (like over 100mm) If you intend to distort them it's good to make it really obvious, humorously obvious. too much NI kills off the texture in his hair. nice color and good that you got his ears up. |

I would have left alone the skin smoother or Neat Image or whatever you used to blur the fur. |

A cleaner eye with a catchlight in it would up this score a bit. But, if this isn't your horse, I wouldn't have cleaned the eye either. Better safe than sorry.
Nice focus on the whole face, including the sharp eye. Well done. |

What a baby. He's all ears. Does he have some mule in him - or just a gangly young thing who will grow up to be a handsome devil. |

Very clean image but spoilt somewhat by the barbed wire. |
