 While taking pictures in Downtown LA (Chinatown), I came across this beautiful garden with a pond, luscious green tree, and fun balcony (like in the French Quarter).

Nice night shot. This subect here has a lot of potential. What might have been more affective is showing the contrast between this garden and the "modern metropolis" (if possible) in a wider shot. : )

Very nice, I LOVE this photo! A fortunate find for you, I would have to say... I like the fact that you took it at night, with the repetition in the lights. I also like how the red and green contrast with each other throughout the photo. Nice job!

An interesting setting and lighting. Without your title, I have no reference for whether this is a common style for this neighborhood, or if it's out of place (but welcome) so the serendipity part is lost on me. I like the lanterns and the overall composition with the angle of the balcony and branches framing the top. I think I would crop it slightly on the left to heighten that.

Give it a more croping from the left. Fine subject but not very sharp and I dont know if it´s good for this challege, seems like you´re trying to sqeeze it in a litle with the title.
