 My first attempt at an HDR image, although it was not accomplished using true HDR techniques, I think.

I used the bracketing feature and a tripod to take 3 exposures at -2/0/+2 stops. I brought those 3 exposures into Photoshop and basically selected-and-copied the best parts of all three images and created a new image - sharpened and saturated here and there and this was the result.

I like the shot, good composition etc but the sky does feel a little bit too unnatural

This is either really exceptional or I must remember to wear my glasses when I vote. Love the touch of color in the grays.

Good use of HDR, not at all overdone (as I would have invariably done with it!) I really like the reflection. To nitpick, I would have probably cropped out the rock and the stuff in the water at the bottom, and my eye is kind of led out of the picture by the cropping of the rightmost boat. Still, those are minor and I like the feeling of serenity that this image conveys by including the lush greenery on the far bank.

Very serene setting, not sure I like they way it crops on the right side but still a nice image. 6
