Infrared image just before sunset.
Using nightshot mode, infrared pass (IR) filter and neutral density (ND8) filter on my Sony DSC-F707.
The base image has a green tint, but after applying levels to each color it becomes more or less B&W. Tint can be finetuned by varying the midpoint of the levels.
Other editing done : neatimage, slight rotate, crop, curves for contrast increase, cloned out some white paint of the bridge (and its reflection), burned the grass next to the bridge, resize, sharpen, save for web. |

| This is beautiful, very serene. I really like it a lot. I give it a 9 because I just feel that it needs a little more contrast, if the subject is the bridge, it doesn't stand out enough from the landscape. |

Nicely composed picture. Good choice to have it in b&w.
The only thing I can complain about this picture is the little white streaks on the water near the bottom of the picture. Since this is an advanced edit challenge it would maybe have been nicer to clone it out. |

| I love the IR look. It adds a very surrealistic feel to the shot. Think I would have preferred to see the bridge more off center though. I gave this one of my highest votes of the challenge. |
