 This picture was lit with Speedlite 580 covered with blue gel inside the shack (about 30 times) and yellow gel outside (about 20 times). The aurora was just a luck, did not expect any aurora in august hehe.
Painting with light is so much fun to shot with different colors and so on....
Raw conversion, shadow/highlights, hue, sharpened after resizing.

Are those Aurora borealis that I see in the bg? Very nice shot. I don't quite agree with the blue/purple flash though, it kind of takes away from the natural beauty of the environment by giving it a studio look.

Cool shot / perspective. I feel this is more about an old shack than the door. I'm not sure about the blue lighting either - just doesn't fit in my mind.

I'm guessing this is in Iceland as your aurora are present - not showing here in Alaska yet as it is still too light out most the night.
