 this is a shot of water dropping on a piece of glass which is that out-of-focus light blue line.


i really almost didn't enter this.

increased saturation and did some noise reduction, cropped and resized.

Wonderfully subtle in it's "purpleness." I find the drops above the crown fascinating in their own right.

I hope others get the imagery of this...The shot is impeccable! I see some else had your same idea but did it in actual purple fluid.

Excellent! Any tips on setup and drop letting go thinga ma jigs would be appreciated. It ircked me to no end trying to get a drop collision , but if I got as close as this and had to drop ;) that idea and just try something like this I would've been a very happy camper. The crown is here is in its truest drop form.

My favorite of the splashes so far. I might like to see that cyan at the bottom a different color though, maybe a dark blue.
