the framing on this is excellent and the near mimicking of movements in the two individuals really makes for a lovely and interesting composition. I might have take a bit off the bottom black, but i think that's just personal preference or speculation!

I agree that I'd like to see it a big bigger. :)

interesting photo...It really pulls you in and makes you want to be closer to figure out what is going on...yet another photo that makes me wish I were able to see the full size one

I agree with the comments about cropping. Otherwise, it's awesome, too bad you didn't submit this! I would probably give this an 8 or 9.

Very good shot - It is an interesting silhouette view of communication between a child and an adult. I enjoy the the expressive gestures of the two (or three ?) subjects against or near the fence. The picture conveys a dialogue between the people about the view of the water that they must be seeing. The crop is generous with the black border - especially on the bottom and right of the picture and might have been a little tighter, but I do like the inclusion of the hand rail on the left and vertical line on the right. I question that it is a candidate for the abstract gallery.

This is very good ... nice natural framing, very crisp silhouettes, subjects are intriguing and there is a hint of color that captures the eye of the viewer.

Very nice; I too would recommend cropping this to get a solid black natural border. You might also want to clone out the small vertical lighter area on the right. The next question is whether or not to keep it centered: you might experiment with adding a small amount of canvas at the bottom to force the image to the top third and make this a vertical orientation; but that's hard for me to see here, it might also work centered or as shot off vertical center.

Nice shot.

A great silhouette - what a shame you didn't remember to submit it.

I like the framing - particularly the shape of the tented ceiling - though I'd crop a little more on all four sides to retain framing but increase size of and focus on central scene.

The forms of the fence and people are fascinating and seem to introduce a sliver of a story - who are they? where are they? what are they doing? what's the occasion?
