This is my niece Ava. She is just 4 years old. She is staying with me for the week.....sooooo....of course she had to be a subject for my camera. Had to bribe her with a lollipop....smart little thing. LOL. I am hoping this is enough purple for The Purple Challenge.

Yeah, I guessed it right. This image screams your name. I was hoping for this one to do well, actually a ribbon.

Thanks Raj....you made me smile when you posted the other image. Thanks for the nice comments.

Wonderful capture. I like the subtle purple. From looking at your score, which is really good still, some people wanted a stronger purple but I'm glad people appreciated it overall.

You just have a way with portraits. If anyone wants to know why window light is magical, this shot should explain it. Congrats on top 20, but really I'm happy for you and your family for having this gorgeous memory forever.

A great photo. It clearly says purple, and is well constructed. this is a True Photo that meets the challenge. I like the way its lit, the main light coming from the side, like she is waiting, in her Favourite Tutu, to go to Ballet Class. Well Done!

Light's a bit harsh on the right side but still a very nice photo.

Good sweet portrait, however, the way her face appears in the light looks a bit odd to me. Maybe the light is too dead-on in front of her.

I like the exposure but the purple is so subtle that it is hardly the focus of the image.

Nice light and very soft sweet portait. I see a costume but not an actual tutu, but never mind that ;-)

AAwww! I always like to see a good portrait.

Really captivating.

Very pretty little girl, like the way she's looking off into the negative space, takes it apart from the many photos of people. Lovely pose and her hair wors perfectly as it clears her face : ) 7

Superb light and exposure, a children's portrait way above the average

What a sweetie. This is a lovely sensitive portrait.

Absolute perfection. Where's my 11 button! I want to vote this one the most favorite of all my favorites in this challenge! Hopefully it will in fact win 1st place!

Beautiful. It will be perfect if her head turns slightly toward the camera so that I can see more of her feature.
