| You know, I always asked that same question about algebra until I got to calculus. My calculus instructor always said that the biggest problem in teaching it was that people forgot their algebra. |

| Love the idea, the title, and the photo. Terrific lighting, with the clear X shadow. I like the way you tilted the wooden X. And I like the simplicity of the composition. |

| It's my personal favorite as far as variables go. X is HUGE. The signature powerhouse of variables. Y can hang, but it's not quite X (unless of course they solve to be equal). And those a, b, c variables? Mere shadows of the venerable X. This was in my top five - and after I saw you had a good score, I went back to my top five and figured this one was yours. Lovely work! |

...but there will be a result! Excellent pic. I would have tried to eliminate the table edge with a little PS for a spotlight effect.

| I wish I could see more detail in the shadows of the cross. Nice and simple with good composition though. |
