 My wife, Nita, grows these in the kitchen window. We all eagerly watch as the flowers open. The "PurpleIII" challenge gave the opportunity to share.

1. image taken in the kitchen window with just a black backdrop.
2. crop to set image location
3. default Noise Reduction using ACDSee Pro 8.1
4. unsharp mask default
5. resize
6. save and rename for submission.

This could've used some despeckling and sharpening, it's a bit dim too. Nice composition though.

I like the composition on this... but the detail in the flowers is not shown very well, in my opinion.

Nicely composed, nice shades of purple, could benefit from being a little sharper.

Pretty flowers and a nice, clear background which does not distract. The flowers aren't quite sharp enough for me personally, but I like the 'glittery' effect they have.
