| This is a beautiful photo. It's hard for me to associate Brooklyn with this level of peace and solitude though. This aspect, however, makes this quite appealing to me :) Great shot... = 10 |

Very good, I just love the empty space in this image and then the people in the middle. Perfect day for it, with great sky. My top pick for this challenge.
By the way : a very slight lens flare high in tke sky and also a bird (or dust on the sensor?). I would clean it up. |

| I'm from Brooklyn Heights and I was wondering which beach this is. I've got some great Coney Island shots. This is a great shot because it's not most people's idea of Brooklyn. |

| Revisiting this photo. Very nice composition. I love how the sky is just enormous and beautiful and blue and you can see the water and the sand. Love the colors. Would like to see the people a little bit bigger because they look a little like ants, or if they were silhouettes, that would be nice. They just seem a bit cluttered. Nice job. Overall: 7 |

I like much: The simplicity of the scene. The vastness expressed by the picture. -the sky.
I like less: Maybe a bit more sand at the bottom.

| One of my favorites of the challenge. Very artistic. I can see this on the wall of a gallery or art museum. It would also work very well as a stock photograph. I love that big, huge looming sky and the tiny figures at the bottom. Great that you've got them so isolated. 10 |

| perhaps a bit too much sky, but i like the concept and composition very much. colors seem almost too snapshot-ish, a problem i have sometimes and don't know how to get over. |

| GREAT sky and use of the negative space. The brown sand, blue water and the sky all work to make this an excellent image. I would rate it even higher if the people were not so centered. |

| While I normally don't like "centered" subjects, this is particularly effective. This is a picture that "grabs" you as soon as you see it. Nice colors. Not what you usually see for Brooklyn, NY. |

| Great picture but somewhat overexposed. Also this could be anywhere in the world, does not give a sense of place to show where you live. |
