 Taken late afternoon at water's edge. These are busy birds, so there were lots of movement and foliage and low light conditions. Needed to use manual focus because of foliage. This nest was at the other side of the tree as my presence scared the birds away at the near side. This necessitated a significant crop as well to cut out the foliage. Would have liked more light, but this was the moment and then it was gone.

Wow, great shot. So far my favorite of the challenge. Goot capture, nice exposure, and good use of DOF. So far, one of my favs for a ribbon. Great work!
