When you're presenting a picture like this, you better make sure that a) you level the camera or b) you correct the rotation in photoshop. This would loke a LOT better if it were true to vertical. As it it feels crooked to me.

Very well done...I especially like the staircase effect...Reminds me of the painting "Nude Descending the Staircase" The cool green and black contrasting the warm tones of the girls makes for a nice image.(9)

Very good photo, but There is something I don't like about it. They have some weird looks on their faces.

There is plenty here to get anyone into a whole bunch of purgatory... Just looking violates several sins. Thx!
10/17/2002 02:59:00 AM
you've paid them all to pose for this challenge?
glass reflection distracts me somehow.
10/16/2002 07:52:00 PM
this photo doesn't do much for me...weird lighting....too busy
10/16/2002 07:27:00 PM
Hmmmm...very interesting!
10/16/2002 03:48:00 PM
Your are a lucky man.

I realize that each girl must be representing the seven sins, however, I think that it would be more dramatic for this photo to have each girl doing something or reacting as if the sin was committed. As it is right now, it's just seven lovely women all dressed alike posing on a cool stairway. The shot itself is technically good. Good focus and composition. 7

This really holds my interest. The coloring and lines are terrific. 10
10/15/2002 03:43:00 PM
nicely portrayed. Vanity Fair kind of shot.
10/15/2002 01:09:00 PM
Great models! Did you have to hire them or were these patient, beautiful friends? Very nice. Too bad all the model's hair color wasn't the same, re: Addicted to Love. Interesting location, where is this? 9 Swash
10/15/2002 12:12:00 PM
u couldnt even get one of them naked?!
10/14/2002 10:45:00 PM
slightly tilted, lots of models, your rich? hmm... nope. You made a deal with the devil to try and win huh?
10/14/2002 10:25:00 PM
Really good photo. I like the green glass that is used in layers up the steps, it makes a very eye pleasing effect. The black clothes of "your seven" stand out really well against it, and I think its both these things that make this a great photo.

If you had seven people together willing to pose, should have tried to represent the sins with each model... and some of their poses are odd? Just seems like a lost opportunity to me. Interesting setting though.
10/14/2002 02:57:00 PM
Oh man, great idea! I wish I had this idea... Lighting could have been better though. Very good effort. 7/10
10/14/2002 02:40:00 PM
I see seven women, but not necessarily 7 sins, or one strong dominant sin. Very elegant and great setup.
10/14/2002 02:15:00 PM
sexy! love the idea. it just confuses me a bit that some of them seem to be aware of the camera and others look distracted. never the less i like it. Love women in black...

I like the composition, but I am curious. Would it have been possible to have them spread further up so that there wasn't so much space at the top. Not sure that I would like that better, but would be interested in knowing if it would have made a difference. I like the contrast of the dark vs. light colors. karmat

I think the composition might have been stronger if the top part of the stairs had been used as well, or if you'd used landscape orientation on the composition you've got? I like the original approach to the subject, the colour choices, and the dedication demonstrated in marshalling seven models...
10/14/2002 09:48:00 AM
very impresive setting. Very nice coloring. your 7 sins look very mature. Beauttifull location.

Pity about the second girl from the right who looks rather bored with the whole thing.

what you got a dance parade--image is a little out of focus--not that great of a picture--but if you can get that many women to take a picture--9bobgaither
