| Okay, someone else has done this and I gave them good marks for the imagination and execution. Now, I'm thinking, maybe not so original? But this one actually was more successfull--it really works despite the stagieness because of how carefully it was executed. The sharp focus on the diamond and the strand of albumen clinging to the eggshell make it appear possible that the gem came from the egg. The composition is tight with nice contrast between the bright yellow of the yolk, the white shell, and the black pan. Really nice effort! |

| should have been great if the placement of the subject of interest i.e. the diamond would have been placed according to the rule of two thirds!!You should have used a much longer depth of field ,this would have made the focus stronger on the fingers |

| If that isn't a diamond in the egg - rather the residue from ther egg white - then congratulations : A great shot. If it is staged, then interesting idea but not as impressive. Image could be a little sharper. |

| Unfortunately, this cliche was often attempted this week which will lower the scores of all attempts. Yours was the best of the breed. Nicely executed. I like DOF. Levels are good. Color is good. Interesting composition. One of the week's best. |
