Mexican Sunflowers shot at the Kater Street Garden. First decent image I ever got of these and I've been shooting them for years. The white balance was still on Incandescent for this but I changed it in editing...looks a lot better with the corrrect balance.

Love these colours, they turned out well. I like the darker bg which helps in making these pop even more, not like they need it though. Great capture.

Very intense colors and I agree with quiche about the BG: it is my favorite part.

gorgeous .. composition and colors are very appealing, but IMHO, it's the awesome bokeh that really makes this shot!

Orange flowers are the toughest ones to shoot, I think. As usual y ou did a masterful job. It's easy to 'blow out' the color; didn't happen here. great composition, and lovely melding of colors for a pleasing balance.

Like the background and composition. Those flowers are really smack-you-in-the-face bright orange!

has a touch underexposed feel, but it has nice story.

I love it, the background has that painting like feeling and complements really well the flower in the front

Believe it or not, I think the background is the best part of this shot. It's got some very pleasing shapes & colors. Foreground flower looks too underexposed.
