Looks old fashioned, and full of personality. A real winner in my book. Love the little boys smile. Happiness runs amok. |

I fail to see how anyone can say that the "colors seem off"??? According to what? What can that statement be based upon as a comparison??? |

Ok, maybe, I'm blind because I can't see the "blow outs" that others in here can see! What I see is a great portrait shot that is really pleasing to the eye and senses composition, content, colour, light and just about everything else. It's not the "technically perfect" that grabs attention in a photo! That seems to be what a lot of people in here don't seem to value! What I see here in this family portrait shot is a great time between father and children, happy, smiling faces that portray the sense of love and closeness that a family has with one another. That, to me, is the message that SHOULD be portrayed....not the "blow outs" or the "oversaturation" that I still can't see in this either!
Keep on shooting what pleases YOU and emotes something from others. THAT is far more valuable than technical perfection! Please don't change your view from behind the camera to please voters in here. Keep up your own style and eye through that viewfinder because you've got quite an eye!
Edited to add....don't forget...every monitor is different so, everyone viewing this will see it slightly differently.

Wow - what a great portrait! Without the watch, this could have been taken in the 50s. Great light, great focus, lovely toning. |

Great family shot, print it and pop it on the wall! Slightly blown out but still works well |

Of course the kids are looking at a neat bird flying by in the background or something. It's not perfect. They lean to the right, look at something other than the camera. . . . I think all of these things come together beautifully to give this photo it's charm. Frame it and hang it up on the wall! |
