 Fern leag on a back lit piece of handmade yellow textured paper. The paper was attached to a Photoflex translucent lite disc and a 100 watt halogen bulb in a clamp was behind.
Layer adjustments for levels, Brightness and Contrast and Hue/sat. USM. No neat image, it would just ruin the effect of the paper. I clone some large blotches black from the background and also cloned and Image Doctor Smart fill some incomplete parts of the fern at the bottom. Oh shot upside down and rotated 180.

That background is way too edited for my taste. Colours are nice and vibrant, but it all feels a bit fake.

I would have removed the little branch on the left, it sort of looks out of place. Great picture otherwise.
