I am so bummed that this didnt score higher. It's still one of my top 3 photos for the challenge. I dont agree with a lot of the other comments.
I like the hat just how it is. I like that the background isnt totally in focus. I think that people are missing that the focus IS on you. You laid out in the lawn chair, being, well, retired and enjoying life and your martini. Sure it could use a few tweaks but overall I wouldnt change much in this shot and I can totally see it in some magazine!

a cool prespective - i just wonder about keeping the hat in the frame - shouldn't the hat be at the top of the photo if it is you viewing the scene?

Creative idea and the drink is a nice funny touch. I would have liked it better if the hat were cropped out and the overall colors were punched up a bit.

I think cropping out the hat would have made this much more effective as actually being the POV of the person in the picture.

ahhh...sipping martinis all day...I would've cleaned up the items around chair, they detract from the shot. good shot!

Focus seems to be on the swimsuit rather than the point of view (which I'd think would be the lake or guy wading in) :)
