Wow, I'm speechless... I love photographing insects and I've had some rather decent shots, but nothing - NOTHING - like this, ever. Feels so perfect. Lucky ewe :)
Good job! |

This is a lovely image and honestly represents the theme of serendipity. The subject is tightly focused and the composition is good. You can see the tension in the drop of water as it is just about to drop off the stem. The slight bluring of the bug's antenna works because the rest of the bug is sharply focused. it gives the impression that they are quivering. |

Serendipity is a difficult concept to visualize. For me it means being at the right place, at the right time, and being lucky enough to capture something unique. Some of these entries are set up shots trying to illustrate that concept, and some record a serendipitous moment experienced by the photographer themselves. This is a good example of the latter. This certainly feels like a serendipitious moment. The photo itself is great, however the frame is unneccessary and distracting |

A ribbon winner in my book. Nice shot!! Depth of field just a little to narrow freeze those antenas. 9 |

Absolutely beautiful photo. I think the gold matte takes attention away from the subject. You might want to go with just simple white and black. But that has nothing to do with the initial picture, which is extremely well done. Nice job! |

Awsome image. Love how it stands out from the background and the water drips add dimension to this photo. The antennas of the bug seem unnatrually blurred. I wonder what kind of plant this is on. Border is interesting but almost seems overpowering as well. Good job. |

Beautiful image. What kind of lens do you use? I'm not real crazy about the yellow border, but am not counting down for that. The picture is terrific by itself. Good work!! |

This is a great close up and nicely composed (sorry but I got to say it --- the border overpowers this delicate shot) |

The border is too much. I'd prefer a thinner one with a nice subtle green.
Nice clarity. |

What a super photograph. Nicely done and I like it for the Challenge. Oh, dear. That Frame. It's so bright and so big. The image is so good, you probably won't notice in the scoring that this vote is a 9 instead of a 10. |

Not sure I see the relevance to the theme, or I would have rated it higher. |

Nice shot! The border is a tiny bit too wide for my taste - the yellow distracts my eye a little. 7. |
