nice shot. I really like the cropping in this image. i think the contrast could use a little bumping though. it seems a bit low, I can't find any real white in the image.. just a dull grey. I don't know if it was purposful (i guess i should assume it is) but i think i like the shadow of the ballerina leg in the background,.. it provides a nice contrast to the young girl. nice pose, and i like the profile of the face. It gives the image a little more feeling... i think the shadows on the back wall work well as well (excpet for those two strong lines going horizontal).
good job.

| ooh - I love the shadow of the grown up leg on the left contrasting with the little girl but the shadow on the right is meaningless and distracting - crop about an inch closer on the right. 8 |

| really nice b&w treatment (foot pointing in the background a great touch - the element far right distracts, however) To make this shot a bit better... the placement of the straight (window?) so close to the dancer detracts from the simplicity. |

| How sweet! I think I'd prefer less detail on the white curtain behind - the stripes, urn shape and leg at the left compete for attention with the little dancer. |
