Deep sea fisherman Rob Hyslip of Homer, Alaska - sorry it's not me. =) He's with Big Bear Halibut Charters.

It was a great day of rockfish and halibut fishing.

Unfortunately I had to edit this on a laptop, so who knows what the color/contrast is. =P

I can almost smell them from here. This might be a fun study in BW too after playing with levels and curves. :~)

the boat behind him is very distracting. Otherwise a great photo. A narrower DOF might have served you very well here.

Love shots like this that actually show people in their own setting; the details like the gaff, blood on the overalls etc really make this a very genuine picture. 8
