 I had the carving idea right from the beginning. As far as the set up and composition goes, I lost any creativity beyond that. I couldn't for the life of me figure out a good way to compose the shot. I almost thought about not entering this, but after the time I spent carving out the wood I went ahead and submitted anyway. Probably will end up in the low-5's.

This is too funny, the wood itself is a bit distracting almost bleached out

Composition would be improved IMHO had the image shifted right and up also a darker floor material might have helped give some contrast.

So imaginative it hurts! others tried the whole woody birth/procreation theme- but nobody carried it off anywhere near as well as you! Liked the composition, lighting and the crop. Also like how the diagonals of the wood help give the phot more energy and movement- This must have been a LOT of work! well Done. 9
