 More from my walk to work. These are actually really tiny flowers, but I was up close and personal. Handheld.

Would have preferred less dof, but with the lowish light, and handheld thing going on I wanted to make sure the shutterspeed was fast enough. Could have bumped the ISO, but didn't want to add unnecessary noise, so shallow DOF it is. I found these in pure white also.

Processing wise, I just darkened the background a bit to make the pinky colour stand out better.

I like the DOF; sharpness fading away into the uncluttered background. It wroks well for these little guys.

No, no - dof is great! Still got that creamy background blur while being able to have a lot of the subject in really sharp focus. What a great shot.

Just beautiful! The dof is perfect for me: the flowers seems to float on top of a sea of dark green. Excellent work!

Delicate, and very very pretty.
I really like the rich dark background, against the bunch of flowers.
