Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Woody II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D50
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM for Nikon
Date: Aug 7, 2008
Date Uploaded: Aug 7, 2008

kpriest gave me this woody. Lit with a sb600 with a lightosphere on it. Shot at ten mm with the woody as close to the camera as I could get and shot at f16. Converted to black and white and toned with selective color and color balance adjustments.

PC: I guess I should have called it break dancing. :P

I almost submitted the same "break dancing woody" as yours, but I had my woody balanced on single hand. I am glad I gave it up because yours has better perspective. Excellent job , though I didn't vote it.

LOL - I thought he was breakdancing as well! :) Nicely done, Joe!

btw, that particular Woody was 21st runner up at the 2006 "So You Think You Can Dance" series. Really. :)

Looks more like he is break dancing :)

An idea of what caused the slip would have added to the overall shot I feel as at the moment the pose really doesn't portray a slip more a fall from a higher position.

When I first saw this, I thought he was break-dancing! I suppose "slip" works, too, and gives it a whole new "spin"! Har har har. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Fantastic shot. Lighting on the far leg is a little harsh for my taste, but overall a great shot!
