This woman had the most amazing presence and I really wanted to photograph her. I was sitting too close to her for her not to notice me taking her picture, and I'm too much of a chicken to just go ahead and take it. or ask her if I could take it, so I clicked off a few shots blindly with my camera sitting on a table. This is the one that worked.

lol! I'm the exact same way. I cringe as I try to take the picture as inconspicuously as possible, hoping they won't notice and ask me to stop. :) This is very beautiful. The colors and the over-all processing work so well for this image. Lovely!

I'm a big chicken to when it comes to asking people if I can photograph them too. But if we ask...would the images be the same? I'm thinking no.

So beautiful. I really love the editing and her peaceful expression - so perfect for the pin she wears. You most definitely captured her soul. Brilliant.

Excellent portrait -- especially for shooting blind. The processing is excellent, too, and I really like the textures.

One thing bothers me a bit. Did she really have such a difference in color between the skin tones in her face and in her neck? That really jumped out at me. If that's the way she was, that's fine. Otherwise I'd try to tone down the contrast between these two areas. 8) My opinion is worth exactly what you're paying for it.

Erin, I'm sure she'd LOVE this image of herself - it's WONDERFUL.
