It was shot with a pair of Canon 580Ex guns set on 1/64 of full power one positioned on the right and one behind the tomato to give some back lighting through the spray. 1/64 full power gives about a 1/30000 second flash duration. Triggering was via a Mumford Time Machine and ballistic sensor which calculates the velocity of the pellet so I know where it will be when the flash guns are fired :).
