 I spent all week feeding worms to the owls in my yard for an "Early Bird" shot in the Morning challenge, but it turns out they close their eyes when they eat, and most of the interest in an owl shot is the eyes. :-(

Plan B: rummage through my photos from the Easton Carnival and find something good. I liked this candid with the girl's arms out as a great expression of what it means to be a kid. My daughter is actually the blurry one on the right, but I was just following random people on the swings and hoping to get some in focus.

Processing: Convert from RAW, Levels, USM, Curves, Saturation and two passes of Noise Ninja.

I certainly wasn't looking for a ribbon with this toss-in entry, but eight votes of 2? Sheesh. Tough audience!

This looks so great, strangely realistic. This is what it looks like exactly on this ride twisting around you look across from you and this is what you see.
