 In the evening the sunlight on the Tiber River is painting it blonde as it used to be, when there was no pollution in our towns. On the foreground two barges remember the times when people used to live close to the river. On the background St. Peter's Basilica is nearly a silhouette against the sky.

I like the image as it is.
I can't help thinking that a lot of the voters on this site would prefer you to have used cropping, saturation and a little fill-light to strengthen it.
