There's some saying about trained monkeys that comes to mind.
To say that in a kinder way - not every experiment should be shown to the general public. ;-)

Serendipity is a difficult concept to visualize. For me it means being at the right place, at the right time, and being lucky enough to capture something unique. Some of these entries are set up shots trying to illustrate that concept, and some record a serendipitous moment experienced by the photographer themselves. This is more of a set up shot, and not really illustrative of serendipity.

I'm not seeing serendipity here, unless maybe you thought that you have found by fortunate accident that playing with the shutter speed is fun? Interesting, anyway!

I am confused by this one, I'll admit. I guess in your mind it represents serendipity, but I can't see it. I know you have gone to great lengths to get this aprticular shot, so I won't be cruel. But I don't get it as being on the challenge topic.

You would have fun waving your camera around for a second or so and I guess the lights make a lot of lines, but for it to be serendipity wouldn't the lights have to have done something like create a face or a heart or the circuit diagram for Silverstone?!

What's the serendipity aspect?
