You sharpened it to much so you got the halo. |

Shame about the halo effect as this would be better looking more pure - also a bit more off-centre with some neg space. Great capture. |

Would have been better without the halo I feel, great capture though. |

Great timing and a splendid capture - very sharp for an action shot - but I think you've slightly overdone the post processing. You could do with a little less of the unsharp mask (i'm guessing that's what brought about the halo effect) and the desaturating has somehow dulled the impact - was it really worse in colour? Also, the sky is a bit on the noisy / pixelated side, and a gentle neatimage / guasian blur on the background might have reduced this a bit. The hand on the left is also a bit disturbing as it looks like a monster has bitten two of the fingers off - but that's just an observation and not a score altering thing... good effort, you just need to tone down your editting a bit. |

Overprocessed to the point that it's not a photo any more...

I love it, the glow is very effective. I would crop it a little bit differently. I wouldn't be suprised if some people might think it's a graphic art (aka a drawing or cutt out) and not a photo. (9) |

Good action silhouette. The grainy and white outline to the skate boarder seems to fit well. I'm interested to learn the technique used to achieve the outline effect. |

Background too grainy and what is with the outlining? Way too much editing of what could have been a good shot, except there does not seem to be a backlight -- unless I am missing it. |

Nice halo effect. Was that done with unsharp mask in photoshop? |

Very cool picture. I don't know if I like the white outline around the silhouette. It doesn't really look natural, even though it might very well be. |

Too much edge halo around the subject, otherwise perfect catch and good clean shape. |

Good job of capturing the action. The glow around the body doesn't add anything for me - it seems too "uniform." Image is pretty well centered which doesn't add any impact. |

I dunno what you did to the guy. Looks all right, if it hadn't been for that thick white border all around. (3) |

nice but over photoshopped I think. But thats just my personal opinion and I'm not for a second suggesting it is in any way illegal.
The problem with this challenge being "advanced editing" meant that any photo could be adjusted enough and played with to be a silhouette. |

Good action shoot. Little bit to much noise. |

Why is there a strange pale halo around the entire silhouette - this strikes me as heavily and poorly manipulated. |
