I used a SB26 through a shoot thru umbrella on my right and a SB800 with diffuser on my left. Black backdrop. I actually had on a white shirt and hated the result. So I removed it.

I like the idea, although I feel that the edges of the cut-out are a little harsh.

I like this one better - I guess I don't have a bright monitor. The other one has harder edges and to me it's obvious that some kind of cut-out happened. Love the pose and placement of the ball too.

Nice, I love tennis. Very nice eye contact on the racquet and ball.

That's weird -- that ball is just jumping around the racket as I look at the rest of the photo. Weird illusion!

Very cool shot... Did you stick the ball to the racquet? I agree that the black shirt works better than white prob would have. Great POV.

I looked at them both and I gotta say, I really like this idea. We so often try to seperate subject from bg to keep from getting that look, but you went for it and pulled it off exceedingly well.

Ahhh that's more like you were going for. I see a totally black bg now and the effect is very well done. I received your PM Ron and I'll PM you a site that'll help you set your brightness and contrast. Not that you need it now though. lol

This is awesome! But ya would have been better with just a regular old black shirt. Great perspective though, and your pose is perfect along with the concentration in your eyes.

yea, on my screen i can see where you colored/cloned to get rid of teh shirt, and its a different shade from the background. other then that, this would be a great float! (not like the floats in a parade, i mean a floating body, hah)

On my screen I see the bg and I don't think that's what you want. I'm not getting that floating arms and head look. If I view it on my secondary monitor which is very dark compared to my main, I start seeing more the effect you were after. Is your monitor calibrated Ron?

I like it...except the edges where the shirt was.
