Day 2 - Twirl Blur

This is the same flowers as the original Day 2, but finished with a 'Radial Blur' added in photoshop, to give it a 'blurred, abstract, motion' look.

This treatment makes the flower disappear completely to leave behind just a whirlwind of bright orange. Makes me think of the dervishes, you know, this tribe that searches for religious illumination by spinning like crazy. The women wear brightly colored skirts to spin - just like your flower!

This is very abstract, which certainly works for me. A technique you could experiment with that you might like is to take one shot of the flower, then take a second shot but overexpose it and purposely change the focus so the second shot is completely out of focus. Mix the two images in photoshop and you get a really nice glowing shot. Just thought it might look nice with these bright orange subjects,
