 I am in severe need of some backgrounds for this side challenge, will pick a couple up tonight.

This was a white painters drop that I used curves/levels and took the highs as high as I could then spot edited what ever junk was left on the background.

2 Calumet 400's with no umbrellas. one on background slightly hitting my right side the other directly on me from my left.

Wonderful shot. The processing is in keeping with the theme of the shot. I enjoy the border and tape effect. I get the feeling I know a bit more of who you are.

I'll just reiterate, GREAT lighting, awesome pose, I love the smiley face :), and your processing is really cool. I especially like the flare and I think the colors are perfect. And I love that you jam barefooted.

Rock on... VERY excellent light... pretty much perfectly lit, especially the face. Nice soft shadows. I think it works realy well on the high key background -- which I suspect you removed ;-) but do correct if wrong. What also works great is overexposing a light coloured background with one of your lights on full (like a big blank wall that doesn't have to be white), and just lighting you with the other. You get a little variegation in the back which sometimes adds interest, but if done right, you'll be perfectly lit. Nice, I like.

Nice one Andy. Love the look of it, kind of retro with the jeans and being barefooted. This could be an ad for Guitar Hero IV. Great SP.
