This is my Buddy Max (AKA you little basterd) he is a Lab X (we think Great Dane). He has a Garbage Can lid stuck to his head!!! He came to ask me for some help getting it off.
We got Max when he was six months old from the SPCA. We where the third family to take Max home and by six months old he had been beaten so bad by a previous owner that we had to hand feed him for almost two months to gain his trust. He would also have mad fits. The Vet told me to pin him down to the floor without hurting him while petting him till he calmed down. This worked wonders for Max and lessened his dominance issues. When we got him he was physically healthy but a mental wreck. Max is also a fear biter (broke skin 3 times on me). He is very happy and trusting now but still has his moods and does not play well with others yet.

In this pic you can see some of his missing teeth on his bottom jaw from being abused before we got him. It is suspected that a leash or chain was pulled through his mouth and the teeth pulled out.

Thanks for reading about my Buddy. Scott

I don't remember giving you permission to post this shot, I thought you said we would keep this just between us. I thought you said there was no "film" in the camera.

Please, just don't post the lampshade shots, that would be the end of me for sure.

MAX!

PS: I'm pleased to see he's doing well Scott and I hope to meet him soon.

He really does look like he's VERY happy now - good of you to give him a home and take such good care of him!
