I'll admit that I've not been a big fan of texture layering and photography. Maybe because I haven't dabbled in it - don't know.
I will say this; I really like the feel of this piece of work. The combination you've put together is more than her photo alone could possibly do to evoke the delicate sense of emotion that comes thru in this. It feels pure, enthusiastic, dreamy, and with a touch of innocence.

This is now my favorite of your sketchy beach images. The processing is a melding of sketch, etching, and watercolor. Brilliant. |

Sweet shot, Charlie! My inclination might be to back off on the luminosity a bit so the look isn't so washed out. That adorable Nimue comes shining right through though. |
