Yes, you are very much in the minority. I don't think the whites are muddy at all, and the lighting is beautiful, as is the overall wow factor and the composition.

I am so sorry about your grandmother! She can count on my prayers. And I agree: There will be plenty of redemption ribbons for you! Keep turning out photos like this, and we'll be seeing you in a week or two!

Oh, Hamid, I'm so sorry about your grandmother. A ribbon is pretty worthless compared to that loss. But it still stinks.

I know the rules and there is no photoshop work on this photo, but problem is ... My grandmother died and ... you know ... . This is the GOD RULES!
Pray for my grandmother.

not to sound completely rude, but this image isn't technically well done from a commercial standpoint. yes, it is composed very well, but the lighting is very flat and the whites are very muddy. nothing in this image really pops out to me. that is my opinion, and by the looks of it i am in the minority.

DQs are very unfortunate...but this individual has been around the site for more than a year, so they had time to understand the rules about retaining unedited files.

Seems like a new member here. Maybe he didn't understand the rules. Maybe there is some Photoshop work done that he didn't know was against the rules?

I can't fault anything about it except that the idea is very old and you didn't add anything to the concept other than to reshoot it and in that you did very well. The lighting is exquisite.
