 My son's bells kit.

Lit with natural light (east facing window, late afternoon) and white poster board as a reflector. Shot in RAW. In PSP X2, crop, BW (45/40/15), curves, clarify, Gaussian blur (1.5), resize, JPG.

This is a good example for me to use. I have a bunch of students in music classes that like to photograph instruments. Hopefully this can be nice inspiration.

Interesting angle to shoot this from. I think the lighting is poor though. The area best lit is not the focus point, and just makes the rest feel rather flat.
