 pulling bark off a dead tree and we found this spider .. i've tried to find out what he was but i'm not sure .. he could be a tarantula or an extremely large wolf spider .. he was LARGE .. about 2" or 5cm across - including his legs ..

Good thing I don't have a huge fear a bugs...something like this could cause a lawsuit for inflicted trauma. ;-)

Somehow the processing which seems a little magical doesn't fit with the spider which is nightmarish!

Nobody brings out the creepy in these critters like you do, Roz. That overlay definitely adds to the nightmarish feel!
